Heritage Cafe
I discovered Heritage cafe by accident while scrolling through Instagram last week, and it immediately caught my attention. Heritage Cafe is a relatively new spot, having opened in July. It is spacious yet manages to feel cozy and inviting. Plus, the location is very accessible, as it’s near Kamppi station.
The cafe sources its coffee beans from Kahiwa | Cafe & Bakery in Lahti–one of my favorite coffee roasters in Finland. I was thrilled to see their beans featured here.
Because it’s not easy to find them in Helsinki. We ordered a flat white, and it was a delicious as I expected. On top of that, the price was quite reasonable!
Another reason for my visit was to try Dory’s Doughters’ cookies! They specialize in New York-style chunky cookies, which are quite rare in Finland. I was also considering ordering some for our Christmas celebration. We chose the Lemon Meringue Chunky cookie, and it was delightful! I especially loved the bright lemon flavor. I’m now certain I’ll be ordering these for Christmas!
Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast, a lover of baked goods, or simply looking for a welcoming spot near Kamppi to hang out with friends or get some work done, this cafe is worth a visit. I’ve already decided to return next week for working! 🙂
