Way Bakery

Way Bakery, located in Kallio–a trendy and easily accessible neighborhood–is a popular spot, especially among young people.

It’s known for its minimalistic yet cozy atmosphere and a frequently changing pastry menu, which ensures there’s always something new to enjoy. However, it is on the pricier side, even by Finnish standards. Because of this, I don’t go as often as I’d like, but I still love visiting whenever there’s a new seasonal menu!

Bread plate, €11.5

For breakfast, my go-to choices are the cheese roll or the bread plate, which includes sourdough bread, cheese, whipped butter, sea salt, and egg. When it comes to brunch, the focaccia with burrata is absolutely delicious. In winter, the rice porridge is my top choice for warming up against the cold weather.

Pastries, €6.5 to €8.5
Persimmon with shiso and spiced syrup, €6

The bakery gets quite busy on weekends, so be sure to arrive early!
